All about Plastic-Free Lunches
A plastic-free lunch uses reusable containers, cloth bags, metal bottles and cutlery instead of single-use wrap, bags and plastic cups. Packing lunch this way cuts down on rubbish that would otherwise end up in landfill or the sea.
Reusable containers can be washed and used again for many weeks or months. Choosing fresh food with less packaging, such as fruit that you can peel, also helps. Plastic-free lunches are a simple habit that makes a real difference over time.
