All about Litter Picking
Litter picking means collecting rubbish from streets, parks, beaches and rivers. It keeps places clean and safe, and it protects wildlife that might eat or get tangled in litter. Many communities organise litter picks where volunteers work together.
Always wear gloves and use a grabber or litter picker to avoid touching anything sharp or dirty. Never pick up broken glass or unknown objects with your hands. Put the rubbish in a bag and dispose of it in the right bin when you finish.
