All about Plant Life Cycle

The plant life cycle describes how a plant grows, reproduces and begins again. It starts with a seed, which contains a tiny plant and food store. When conditions are right, the seed germinates, sending out a root and a shoot.

The young plant grows, develops leaves and eventually flowers. After pollination, the flower produces seeds in fruits or cones, and the seeds are dispersed so the cycle can repeat. Some plants also reproduce by runners, bulbs or cuttings.
