The Hot Water Bottle

A hot water bottle is a rubber or metal container filled with hot water to keep someone warm in bed. It is a simple invention that has comforted people for centuries. Hot water bottles are often wrapped in a cover to protect the skin.

Early versions of hot water bottles were made from clay or metal and were used long before modern rubber was available. Today, many people use them to ease aches and keep their feet warm on cold nights.
