Croquet

Croquet is a lawn game in which players use mallets to hit balls through a series of hoops. Players take turns and aim carefully to outwit their opponents, sometimes sending an opponent's ball far away. The game is often played on a neat, flat lawn.

Croquet was popular in Victorian times and is still played at many lawn clubs today. Its rules can seem complicated at first, but the basic aim is simple: get your ball through all the hoops and hit the finishing peg.
