All about Pictographs

A pictograph shows information using small pictures or symbols. Each symbol stands for a set number of things, and a key at the bottom explains what each symbol means. Pictographs make data easy to see at a glance.

Suppose one apple symbol stands for 5 apples. If a row has 3 full apple symbols, that row shows 15 apples. Always check the key before reading a pictograph, so you know what each picture is worth.
