All about Tea

Tea is a drink made by steeping the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant in hot water. The leaves are grown in countries such as India, China, Sri Lanka and Kenya, and they can be picked, dried and processed in many different ways.

Green, black and oolong teas come from the same plant but differ in how the leaves are processed. Green tea is lightly processed, black tea is fully oxidised and oolong is partly oxidised. Herbal teas, however, are made from other plants and are not true teas.
