All about Wire Sculpture
A wire sculpture is a three-dimensional artwork made by bending and twisting wire into shapes. Artists often make figures of people, animals and objects, and some sculptures are shown in the air with no base. The wire can be thin for delicate details or thick for strong shapes.
Wire sculptors plan their designs carefully so the shapes balance. Some use pliers and a simple frame to help them make each piece the same size.
