Hyperlinks

A hyperlink is a clickable link that takes you to another webpage, document or part of a page. Hyperlinks connect information across the internet and help people move quickly between related pages. Links are often underlined or shown in a different colour.

The first hyperlinks were created by researchers to connect documents in early computer systems. Today, hyperlinks are the basis of the World Wide Web.
