E-mail Attachments

An e-mail attachment is a file sent along with an email, such as a picture or document. Be careful when opening attachments from people you do not know, as they can contain viruses. Check with the sender if you are unsure.

Attachments are one of the most common ways that computer viruses are spread. Scan attachments with security software and never open an attachment you were not expecting.
