Para Athletics

Para athletics is a version of athletics for athletes with a range of disabilities. It includes running, jumping and throwing events that are adapted so that everyone can compete fairly. Athletes are grouped by the nature of their disability.

Para athletics has been part of the Paralympic Games since the first Games in 1960. Many athletes train alongside able-bodied athletes and compete at the highest levels.
