Wildflower Meadows

A wildflower meadow is a field of mixed flowers and grasses that supports bees, butterflies and other insects. Leaving areas unmown during the summer helps wildflowers grow and set seed. Meadows are beautiful and important for wildlife.

A single wildflower meadow can provide food for hundreds of different species of insects. Many traditional meadows have been lost, so planting new ones helps protect pollinators.
