Moles

Moles are small mammals that live underground and dig tunnels with their strong front paws. They have tiny eyes and rely on touch and smell to find worms and insects. Their velvety fur lies smoothly in any direction.

A mole can dig a long tunnel in just a few hours. Moles push soil up to form molehills, which help to aerate the ground and mix nutrients into it.
