Oman

Oman is a country on the south-east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It has mountains, deserts and a long coastline on the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman. Its capital is Muscat, a city known for its historic harbour.

Oman has some of the oldest known evidence of human settlement in the Arabian Peninsula. Frankincense, a fragrant resin, has been traded from Oman for thousands of years.
