Animator

An animator creates moving pictures by drawing or building characters, then showing a sequence of slightly different images. When these images are played one after another, they look like smooth movement. Animators make cartoons, films, adverts and video game characters.

Traditional animators draw each frame by hand, while computer animators often build characters on screen. A few seconds of finished animation can take many days or weeks of careful work.
