All about Singing and Your Voice

Your voice is made when air from your lungs passes between your vocal cords in your throat. The cords vibrate, and the sound is shaped by your mouth, nose and throat. The faster the cords vibrate, the higher the pitch.

Singing well takes good posture, deep breathing and a warm-up. Stand tall, breathe from your stomach and gently warm up with humming or lip trills. Look after your voice by drinking water and resting it when it feels tired or sore.
